Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t like to change his team line-up but he will be forced into one change on Saturday against Nottingham Forest and he would be well advised to make another.

The three points against Ipswich put his side back on top of the league but if he wants to stay there he must make a tactical switch by dropping star player Samu Saiz and bringing in Adam Forshaw.

Forshaw, who arrived for £4.5million from Middlesbrough, replaced Saiz on Wednesday in the 57th minute.

Saiz has looked a shadow of the player he can be in recent weeks and he needs a rest – for his good and for the good of the team.

Forshaw created a lot when he came on and belied the fact that he’s had more Under-23s action than first-team outings this season.

He had made a total 89 minutes of action in the first-team before the Ipswich game across six appearances and must have been wondering when he’d get his chance.

That time should be now.

Barry Douglas isn’t expected to come back from injury and Gaetano Berardi limped off with a muscular problem on Wednesday, which means Ezgjan Alioski should continue at left wing-back and Pontus Jansson should come in for Berardi.

This is the starting XI that will keep Leeds ta the top of the table on Saturday and bring them another three points closer to the Premier League:
