Leeds desperately needed a win against Hull City in the Championship tonight and got it courtesy of a cracking goal from 19-year-old Tyler Roberts.
And fans took to Twitter to celebrate the youngster after he finally broke the deadlock early in the second-half.
Leeds dominated the first-half in terms of possession but looked nervous and bereft of ideas in the final third of the pitch.
Despite their dominance they couldn’t break Hull down and that’s been the story of Marcelo Bielsa’s team in the past few weeks.
However, this win puts them back on top of the Championship – on goal difference from Middlesbrough – and fans are delighted.
Here are the best reactions from fans to Tyler Roberts:
Take a bow Tyler Roberts. Embarrassing for the fans doubting this lad. #lufc

Roberts has been showing his potential in roofes absence, not perfect but some real signs of quality at only 19 #lufc https://t.co/pLZqukRYBQ

OPINION
Finally. Leeds fans must have been wondering what their side had to do to win a game, and while this wasn’t easy, it’s a valuable three points that puts them back on top of the league. For 24 hours at least. One ongoing worry is that this game should have been done and dusted way before the end, and at 1-0 there’s always a hope for the opposition. Leeds dominated the game and are really missing their key attackers, despite a wonderful goal from Tyler Roberts. Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe won’t be back for the Brentford game and fans will be counting down the days until they’re back. If, somehow, they are still top of the league when they’re back it will be a real result for Marcelo Bielsa. Next up is Brentford in the early kick-off on Saturday and although Bielsa likes to name an unchanged team, he probably won’t be able to do that after Barry Douglas suffered an injury, thought to be muscular, at the end of the game. That was the only blight on a good win away from home.
