A section of Aston Villa fans have been drooling over John McGinn for his performance in the 3-3 draw with Preston on Tuesday.
McGinn, 23, has been in superb form for the Villains since signing for the club in the summer, and was impressive yet again at a floodlit Villa Park as he supplied the assist to Tammy Abraham’s second goal.
Some Villa fans were loving the midfielder’s performance, with one saying he is “on fire”.

OPINION
McGinn has been getting better and better every week for Aston Villa and you have to agree with the one fan who claims that he is the club’s shining light so far this season. The Scottish playmaker was superb once again against Preston and it looks like he really comes alive in games where the Villains boss possession. What was impressive about him on Tuesday night was his ‘never say die’ attitude. McGinn never gave up and kept running all throughout the game. With that kind of attitude couple with his fantastic technical attributes, it’s no shock that he has been so good for the West Midlands club and a player like him really deserves to be higher up in the table. McGinn is bound to be linked with a move away from Villa Park if the club fails to win promotion this season. He really could be Premier League quality soon enough.
