Arsenal put in a brilliant display to run out convincing 5-1 winners over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, but many fans have taken to Twitter to slam the display of right-back Hector Bellerin.
The Gunners took the lead through Alexandre Lacazette before Andre Schurrle equalised just before half-time, but second-half goals from Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and a double Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saw the Gunners home comfortably.
Fans have been tearing into Bellerin for his performance on Twitter despite his involvements in Arsenal’s final two goals, with many seemingly believing that the right-sided flyer is not improving.

Bellerin should be sold whilst the illusion is still there.

Iwobi has been exceptional. Bellerin exceptionally bad.

Unpopular opinion: Bellerin needs to be sold.

I’d imagine/hope a right back is top of Arsenal’s list of priorities for next summer. Bellerin has regressed massively and is only getting worse. Does so much off the pitch, hard to believe he’s focussed on being the best he can be

OPINION
These Arsenal fans seem pretty unhappy with Bellerin’s performance against Fulham, and that will no doubt cause controversy among the rest of the Gunners fanbase. The Spanish right-back was admittedly shaky in the first-half, and there were glimpses that he is struggling for form, especially at the back. However, his attacking instincts came to the fore in the second half, with his beautiful back heel helping to set up Ramsey’s stunning goal before he provided the assist for Aubameyang’s effort. There were some dodgy moments for Bellerin throughout the match, and so you can see where these fans are coming from, but those two key moments in the second half mean that the right-sided flyer actually had a decent game. He is still easily Arsenal’s best choice at right-back, and will continue to be a key member of their side going forward this season despite his mixed run of form in recent weeks for the Gunners.
