A section of Liverpool fans have expressed their delight on Twitter at the signing of goalkeeping giant Kai McKenzie-Lyle from London club Barnet.
The 20-year-old, who stands at 6ft 7in, posted on his personal Instagram account on Thursday evening that he has finalised a move to the Merseyside giants as he attached a image showing him penning terms.

Many Liverpool fans are struck by the size of McKenzie-Lyle, who is still listed as a Barnet player on their official website.

COMMENTARY:
McKenzie-Lyle has attracted more attention than most youth team signings for a number of reasons after Liverpool decided to press ahead with a deal following a successful summer trial. The 20-year-old is enormous, standing at 6ft 7in (source: Barnet website), and has already accumulated three full Guyana caps. Even more unusually, he scored on his international debut after going up for a corner in the dying second and deflecting one in off his shoulder. McKenzie-Lyle made his Barnet debut days after his 18th birthday and has played 12 times for their first team, including in League Two before their relegation at the end of last season. Goalkeeping runs in the family, as his brother Rennell, 18, is also on Barnet’s books. The older sibling’s timing could be good as Liverpool lost 19-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher earlier this week to a freak training ground injury that is set to keep him out until the end of October.

Surely 3 keepers for U23 is too many? Someone's gonna leave? & Kelleher signed a new contract so…?
