A section of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter saying that they want left-back Ben Davies axed for the clash against Liverpool at Wembley this weekend.
The 25-year-old was not in the best of form against Watford before the international break while Danny Rose put in a man of the match display for England in their win against Switzerland this week.
And some Spurs fans want to see Mauricio Pochettino swap his left-backs around for Saturday’s showdown, with one saying that the Argentine must go if he decides to start the Wales international.
This is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets below:
I’d go Rose just purely for the pace, Davies has been ripped at anfield two years in a row, I’d rather rose against Liverpool and Davies midweek. Rose would also likely be confident after his MOTM performance last night

Central midfield too lightweight so a back 4 and Dembele instead of Sanchez .Rose played well last night so him instead of Davies, who isn't in great form .

OPINION
It is a bit of a over-reaction to Davies’ form, but these fans are certainly right about wanting Rose to start over the former Swansea star for when Liverpool travel to Wembley on Saturday. Davies hasn’t been terrible this season but his performance against Watford definitely warrants him losing his spot in the starting line-up. Rose was excellent on international duty and if he can play to a similar level against Liverpool – if he starts – then he is bound to do a better job at keeping Jurgen Klopp’s attack quiet than his Welsh team-mate. Spurs need a big result this weekend because a second loss in a row is going to seriously harm their chances of doing well in the Premier League this term. They simply must get off to a good start and not let other top sides run away at the top of the table. It wouldn’t be the end of the world but beating the Reds would be a huge confidence booster for the squad.
