A section of Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to annihilate goalkeeper Cameron Dawson for his display in the 1-1 draw with Leeds United at Hillsborough on Friday.
Dawson, 23, looked shaky between the sticks for most of the Yorkshire derby, but just about managed to do enough to ensure his side shared the spoils with Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
However some Wednesday fans were furious with the shot-stopper for his shaky performance, with one saying that he is absolute garbage.

OPINION
Dawson may have been in a team that did well to win a point against Leeds and could not do much about Mateusz Klich’s wondergoal, but he really should worry about his spot in the starting line-up after that performance. The amount of times that he was lucky to see Leeds’ forwards fail to stick the ball in the back of the net and had to be bailed out by his defenders just shows that Jos Luhukay really needs to consider dropping the 23-year-old. Owls fans have clearly had enough of him – with good reason – and Luhukay does have other options that he can play. Current number two Joe Wildsmith is surely better and what has happened to Keiren Westwood? The Irish shot-stopper has been one of the Championship’s best goalkeepers in the last few years, so what does Dawson have that he doesn’t? Luhukay needs to think about this because it’s going to cause more and more issues as the season goes on.
