Celtic got their season back on track with a 1-0 win against Aberdeen on Saturday, but fans weren’t happy with striker Leigh Griffiths.
The striker has been making his case to lead the line for Celtic and he’s got a great goal record for them – 103 goals in 196 appearances.
But he couldn’t get on the score sheet yesterday, with Scott Sinclair bagging the only goal of the game, although Griffiths was the provider.
And many fans were bemoaning his inability to finish off one-on-ones, with one fan going as far as saying it was Griffiths’ worst performance ever in a Celtic shirt.
Here are the best reactions from disgruntled Celtic fans:
coming into the game more just before the wreckless challenge which forced him out. Today was one of the worst perfomances Griffiths ever had. You can tell when Girff is having a bad game and he knows it as he looks over at Rodgers every 5 minutes.

Griffiths is probably one of the worst 1 on 1 finishers I've seen. Mental considering his amazing goal to game record.

Wouldn't be a convincing win for Celtic without Griffiths missing a 1v1??

If Leigh Griffiths had a one on one with archduke franz ferdinand of austria WWI wouldn’t have happened. ?

One of these days Leigh Griffiths will score a 1 on 1 & I'll die of shock. Anyways, great result. Boyata & Hendry were superb.

OPINION
This result will be a big relief for Celtic fans who knew their side couldn’t really afford another slip-up. And Aberdeen are no mugs and didn’t make it easy yesterday. In the end the unlikely hero was Scott Sinclair, who came off the bench to score the winner in the 63rd minute. He’s been heavily criticised for a long time now by Celtic fans but he turned hero on Saturday, scoring the goal that took his side to fourth in the table, just ahead of rivals Rangers. Steven Gerrard’s side can move up to second with a win today against Livingston. Griffiths didn’t have a great game but he did supply the assist for the Sinclair goal and his record at Celtic is beyond reproach. If he does have one weakness it’s with his one-on-ones… he doesn’t bury as many as he should, and if he did his goals per game ratio would probably be too much for Brendan Rodgers to ignore. Number one striker Odsonne Edouard went off in the 43rd minute with a dead leg yesterday though, so Griffiths might well get a chance to prove he can lead the Celtic line.
