I can be quick to criticise @CelticFC when it is due. However, this is a great piece of business by the club IMO!!!! ???????

Opinion
Celtic fans had a tough summer, seeing them struggle to bring in their top targets as well losing Moussa Dembele late on in the summer, and it might well have been the Frenchman’s exit which accelerated this contract deal. Griffiths is joined by Odsonne Edouard as the only two hitmen at Parkhead but with the Scot’s impressive record, netting 100 goals, the Bhoys know they are in safe hands up top. The Celtic fans are evidently delighted by the decision to get him tied down to a new deal and so they should be, even if he has not been everyone’s cup of tea over the years. His record speaks for itself and there are few out there who can rival him in Scotland’s top flight. The club will be hoping he can keep banging in the goals on the way to another treble winning campaign, and there could be a lot of pressure on his shoulders as the campaign continues.
