A section of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to rave about the transformation of Georgino Wijnaldum.
The 2016 signing from Newcastle United has been one of the team’s outstanding players this season after nailing down a starting place despite the combined £100million signings of Fabinho and Naby Keita.
Many Liverpool supporters are hailing Wijnaldum for his recent displays, with comments including “beast” and “monster”.

COMMENTARY:
Smiley, charming and depreciating off the pitch, Wijnaldum has become a beast on it. He was seriously impressive in the final stages of last season following the injury to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that gave him his chance. The 27-year-old Holland international has taken his game to a new level either side of the summer, and appears galvanised by the competition for places engendered by the arrivals of Keita and Fabinho. Wijnaldum has started all six of Liverpool’s matches this season in central role, a luxury also afforded the equally red-hot James Milner but no Keita, Fabinho or Jordan Henderson. The Dutchman, signed from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016, is currently undroppable. After dominating two quality teams in Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain, only injury will prevent him being named in the starting XI against Southampton on Saturday. No wonder Liverpool fans are going wild for him.
Klopp has brought in absolute world beaters and made players like Milner Hendrson and Wijnaldum into players no one would ever have believed they could be. There has never been a better time in the past 30 years to be a red

Gini Wijnaldum has seriously gone up a gear – such strength on the ball and so committed in regaining possession.
Don’t be fooled by the smile, once that whistle goes, he’s taking no prisoners.— Ben Webb (@BenWebbLFC) September 18, 2018

His game has gone on to another level this season. Our midfield 3 did so well in preventing PSG getting it to their front 3.
