Chelsea conceded a late goal as they drew 1-1 against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday, and many fans have taken to Twitter to drool over the display of centre-back Antonio Rudiger.
The Blues took the lead through star man Eden Hazard on 25 minutes and looked good for their second big win over the Reds within a few days before Daniel Sturridge equalised with a 25-yard stunner in the final few minutes.
Despite the late setback many Chelsea fans on Twitter have been raving about 25-year-old Rudiger’s display at the back against title rivals Liverpool.

You can tell Antonio Rudiger has been watching JT and Carvalho 's video clips.
He is a proper Chelsea defender.— Olusegun. (@AtolagbeOA) September 30, 2018
I'm glad Rudiger is finally getting some recognition. He's been so solid for us. I wish I could remember who didn't want him based off a gif of Perisic turning him.

OPINION
Despite that late blow from the left boot of former player Daniel Sturridge, these Chelsea fans seem extremely impressed by another solid display from Rudiger. You can see exactly why as well, with the Germany international looking so solid throughout the match against one of the most dangerous attacks in the division. Rudiger really has come on leaps and bounds since his first season at the club, and looks like he could well go on to become of the best defenders in the world if he continues his development at this kind of pace. One moment which summed up his performance more than any was his goal line clearance from Mo Salah, with the 25-year-old sprinting back to help out goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and denying the Reds an equaliser. His pace and athleticism are far above average for a centre-back, and that is one of the main reasons behind his effectiveness at the back for Chelsea so far this season.
