OPINION
Hernandez has been one of a number of revelations for Leeds this season. At 33 he’s rolled back the years to produce some outstanding performances and this is further recognition of the important role he will play for Leeds this season. He was sorely missed in the 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough, when Leeds really struggled to break down one of the promotion rivals at Elland Road. The good news is that he will be back in training this week and should be fit to play in the next Championship game after the international break, away at Millwall. Bielsa said that he didn’t select the Spaniard more as a precaution than for anything serious and Leeds fans will be desperate to see him back. A couple said the result on Friday would have been different if he’d started and one reminded other fans how he stayed with Leeds despite being able to move back to Spain because he wants to get the side back in the Premier League.
