Wolves fans could be in line for even more drama after it appeared that their deadline day deal for Man City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko was off.
Sky Sports transfer centre (11.54am) is now reporting that a deal for the youngster could be back on with the club desperately trying to change his mind about the move.
It is reported that Zinchenko is still in Manchester but that Wolves officials have rescheduled a medical for the 21-year-old for this afternoon after he failed to show for the original this morning.
All of this comes after reliable journalist Tim Nash claimed the deal was off despite a £16million fee being agreed.
Hearing the Zinchenko deal is OFF as the player has turned down the chance to join @Wolves, according to sources in Manchester. A £16m fee had been agreed several weeks ago and a medical had been arranged at Compton this morning.

OPINION
Zinchenko himself is still undecided about the move but will have to make his mind up quick, with the 5pm deadline fast approaching. And if he does change his mind he’s not going to be the most popular player at Wolves. Fans hate it if they think a player isn’t totally committed to the club and, despite being told he won’t feature much for Man City this season, Zinchenko seemingly doesn’t fancy Wolves. We see this one as unlikely but obviously still possible. It shouldn’t be too hard to sell the vision of Wolves to Zinchenko and he’d be playing in a quality team with aspirations of a top-half finish. Of course, it’s extremely unlikely that they’ll finish above Man City, but it’s also extremely unlikely that Zinchenko will get much game time outside of possibly a cup game or two. This one is set to go all the way down to the wire.
