A section of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to react to a post by Ben Foster after Watford maintained their 100 per cent start to the season by beating Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road on Sunday.
Foster, 35, quit The Hawthorns in the summer transfer window to return to Watford, who he has so far appeared three times for in the Premier League this season.
After beating Palace at the weekend, the ex-England international took to his personal Twitter account to hail a perfect start the campaign.
“Another great win today!!! What a start,” he said.

Some Baggies fans were prompted to reply to Foster’s message, with one calling him a “quality” goalkeeper while wishing he was still in the Black Country.

Quality keeper would love him to still be at Albion but premier league quality deserves premier league football.

OPINION
It seems as though some of the abuse aimed at Foster is starting to die down now and some West Brom fans are becoming more appreciative of their long-standing goalkeeper, who walked out on the club this summer. Foster has previously promised that he would stay on board to help the Baggies get back to the Premier League but as soon as Watford came calling, he made it quite clear that he wanted out. It broke a lot of hearts now the dust is settling a bit, many are reverting to hailing him as one of the best goalkeepers that the Black Country club has ever had. It’s a bit like Peter Odemwingie when he left the Baggies. Not one fan was happy with his escapades, but in the last year or so, the Nigerian is once again widely adored by the supporters. Foster is playing well for an in-form Watford side and there will be plenty of Albion fans that will no doubt be cheering him on.
