A section of Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter after it was reported that the North London club has tabled a bid for Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu.
The Irish Independent reports that Spurs have offered £178,000 plus add-ons for the 16-year-old sensation, who has also attracted attention from the likes of Liverpool, Celtic and Norwich.
It is understood a four-year deal will also be offered to Bazunu by Spurs, and some fans are very excited about potentially signing the Irish wonderkid.
One Tottenham supporter claims that the shot-stopper is “unreal” for his age.

OPINION
It’s good to see that most of these fans are excited about the possibility of signing a young shot-stopper. Spurs have not really developed a goalkeeper of their own in a long time, and they probably won’t as long as Mauricio Pochettino is in charge as he very much believes in having three senior options to play between the sticks. Spurs fans seem to have a high estimation of Bazunu though and that should stand him in good stead if he eventually makes to move to North London as there will be a lot of attention cast upon him, and that could have an impact on the manager.
