Rangers have agreed a deal for Kyle Lafferty and the striker will have his medical early next week ahead of a debut from the bench against Ufa next Thursday, according to a reliable journalist.
Bill Young, from RockSportRadio, also added that there was even more news to come about other targets, and Rangers fans are desperate to get Lafferty in and get hold of a new centre-back.

Rangers fans have been spoiled this season and their reactions to this news is proof. Gerrard has already made 11 summer signings, Lafferty will be the 12th and they’re already hungry for 13 and beyond! It’s fair to see that Steven Gerrard has delivered way more than people expected, and that also Rangers have carried through on their promises to provide the investment he needs to make the club competitive again. Under Caixinha and Murty last season, you never knew which Rangers were going to turn up. This time they’ve got a steel and a hunger, which has led to Gerrard not yet being behind in a competitive game. That’s some record. And Rangers fans are lapping it up. One fan was desperate for Rangers to get Lafferty over the line as he said they desperately need him. Others were far more interested in who the 13th summer signing will be!

Makes sense as he is Cup tied and can’t play Sunday so no great rush to get this done. He is badly needed for the games coming up though as Alfredo will run out of gas at some point with how hard he works. Poor kid needs a rest and big Sadiq does not look up to it yet.
