A wide number of Celtic fans have been left drooling over the performance of winger Mikey Johnstone after he started the Europa League clash against FK Suduva on Thursday evening.
The Hoops played out a 1-1 draw away against their Lithuanian opponents, with Olivier Ntcham netting the opening goal after just three minutes, although the home side did find an equaliser in the first half from a free kick.
It was Johnston who set Ntcham up for the opener and he was a constant thorn in Suduva’s side with his display down the left flank, leaving the Hoops faithful turning to Twitter to voice their delight at what they saw from the 19-year-old.
This is Futbol has rounded up a selection of the supporters’ tweets:

Opinion
No wonder these Celtic fans were left delighted with Johnston in Lithuania – his performance was well beyond the quality expected from a 19-year-old. He was electric down the left flank and was a constant threat with his pace, dribbling and pure desire to put Suduva to the sword. It did not take long for him to stamp his mark on the game and perhaps that was the confidence boost he needed to put in such a dazzling display. He used his skill and technique to constantly get past the opposition defenders and get into dangerous positions where he could pose a threat either with a cross to a team mate or a shot of his own. At 19, he has so much potential to bring to this Celtic side and fans can be sure they will be seeing more of the youngster under Brendan Rodgers as the weeks go by – especially if they stay fighting on numerous fronts.
