A section of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to slam Ovie Ejaria for his poor performance against Osijek in the second round of Europa League qualifiers on Thursday night.
Ejaria, 20, was making his second start for the Light Blues since joining the club from Liverpool on loan earlier this summer, but the midfielder failed to impress the home crowd at Ibrox thanks to him gifting away possession all too often.
Some fans tore the England Under-21 international to shreds for his performance on social media, with one claiming that his display was “rotten”.
This is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets:
I know it's early doors, but I'm not convinced by Ejaria. He gives the ball away far too often. He's been the weak link tonight.

OPINION
While Ejaria was not in the best of form against Osijek, these Rangers fans need to remember that it is still early days in his spell at Ibrox and there is plenty of time for him to improve as the season goes on. The midfielder is by no means a finished article. He has been signed from Liverpool to help aid his development and you would hope that a player of his age would continue to improve as the season goes on. Ejaria would have learned from his poor performance against the Croats, as will Steven Gerrard and his parent club Liverpool.
