Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted an exciting game and lots of goals on Friday night as two Championship heavyweights clash.
Middlesbrough and West Brom are both favourites for promotion this season and both are in “decent form” according to Prutton.
Writing in his column for Sky Sports he said, “This is a tough one to call between two very big, powerful sides who thrive from set-piece situations.
“Boro could go clear at the top at least for one night and I think they could sneak what should be an entertaining game.”
Prutton thinks Middlesbrough will win 3-2 in what could be a cracking game in front of the Sky TV cameras.

West Brom or Middlesbrough could go top tonight and both teams should be motivated to go for the win. That means it could be a great game to watch and we think Prutton is spot on when he predicts goals. The Championship is set up to be one of the best in years, with Leeds currently top and defying expectations with new manager Marcelo Bielsa at the helm. The big surprise is pre-season favourites for the title Stoke, who are currently in the bottom three with just two points from four games. It’s early days and they’re likely to come back into things after they’ve adjusted to life in the Championship. But they need to hurry up – teams don’t hang about in one of the toughest leagues in the country, and Leeds, along with West Brom and Middlesbrough are already setting the pace.
