Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted a comfortable home win for Leeds that would give them nine points from nine in the Championship.

Writing in his column for Sky Prutton said that the win against Derby showed Bielsa’s side was no fluke and said they’ve have too much for Rotherham – despite their “massive win” over Ipswich last weekend.

“I think it’s tentatively fair to say that Leeds are looking good,” Prutton said.

“Their demolition of Derby last weekend proved their victory over Stoke on opening day was no fluke and it’s just about whether they can maintain that level now.

“Rotherham got a massive win over Ipswich last weekend, but it’s hard to see them matching Leeds if Marcelo Bielsa’s side play the way they have been so far. This should be a comfortable home win.”

He predicts a strong 3-0 win for the home side in front of their fans at Elland Road.

OPINION

There’s a lot of talk in sport about whether momentum exists, but if it does Leeds have it. It’s three wins from three for Marcelo Bielsa and the manner of the two league victories – 3-1 against Stoke and 4-1 against Derby – suggest that Rotherham are in for a rough time on Saturday. The Elland Road crowd will be in full voice and the players seem to know exactly what they’re doing, and they’re doing it well. So well that there is seemingly no room in the team for star and big-money signing Patrick Bamford in the team tomorrow. Bielsa has said that he intends to start the same XI that played the other two league games. That could be worrying for Bamford as Bielsa’s reputation of working with a small group of players precedes him. All Bamford can do is take his chances when he gets them and he scored in his first start against Bolton on Tuesday. In the meantime he may have to settle for a role as impact sub, which probably wasn’t the way he saw his summer move panning put.
