Tottenham Hotspur ran out 3-1 winners against Fulham at Wembley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and there were several standout performers for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Winger Lucas Moura opened the scoring with a sumptuous left-foot strike before Aleksandar Mitrovic pulled the visitors level with close range header in the second half.

Kieran Trippier then restored Spurs’ lead with a breathtaking free-kick before Harry Kane broke his August curse with a tidy finish to round off the win.

This is Futbol have rated every single Tottenham player v Fulham below, with a trio of players dazzling with 8/10 displays:

Goalkeeper and defence

Hugo Lloris: 7/10 – Lloris only had a few saves to make across the 90 minutes but there were a couple of outstanding stops from the World Cup winner among them.

Toby Alderweireld: 7/10 – The Belgian started his first match of the season for Spurs after a summer of exit speculation and settled in well with a comfortable display at the back.

Davinson Sanchez: 7/10 – Sanchez had a brilliant first season with Spurs and shows no sign of letting up with his development after putting in another accomplished performance.

Jan Vertonghen: 7/10 – Vertonghen followed up his goalscoring display last weekend with another solid performance for Spurs.

Midfield

Kieran Trippier: 8/10 – England’s World Cup standout was rested last week but came back into the side against the Cottagers to brilliant effect, providing a constant threat down the right.

Eric Dier: 6/10 – Dier put in a solid display against Fulham with some nice passing and a couple of key contributions on defence.

Christian Eriksen: 7/10 – Eriksen dictated Spurs’ attacking play well, with his passing and clever touches around the box causing the visitors a host of problems.

Dele Alli: 6/10 – Alli opened his account for the season in their first game against Newcastle but never really looked like adding to that tally against Fulham despite some flashes of skill.

Ben Davies: 6/10 – Davies was not quite as lively as counterpart Trippier down the left, but still managed to get forward well.

Attack

Lucas Moura: 8/10 – A couple of poor early misses threatened to overshadow Lucas’ day, but he recovered well to put Tottenham ahead in the first-half with a brilliant goal.

Harry Kane: 8/10 – It looked as though the 25-year-old’s August curse was set to continue after he hit the post in the second half, but a deft finish just a few minutes later put that to bed and topped off a brilliant man-of-the-match display from Tottenham’s star man.

Substitutes

Mousa Dembele: 6/10 – Solid as ever, Dembele helped shore up the Tottenham midfield in the second half.

Erik Lamela: 7/10 – Lamela looked really good in his first appearance of the season and set up Kane for his goal with a brilliant driving run through midfield.

Harry Winks: N/A – Came on too late for a rating.
