Tottenham Hotspur overcame a stubborn display from Fulham to run out 3-1 winners at Wembley in the Premier League on Saturday, and some fans have taken to Twitter to rave about the display of right-back Kieran Trippier.
Lucas Moura put Spurs ahead in the first-half with a brilliant curling strike before Aleksandar Mitrovic hit back after the break for the visitors, but second-half goals from Trippier and Harry Kane helped Spurs to their second successive win to start the season.
Some Tottenham fans have now reacted to Trippier’s display on Twitter, with many blown away by the right-back’s all-action display upon his return to the starting XI.

OPINION
Trippier really established himself on the world stage with his performances for England in Russia, and he carried that form on with another brilliant display against Fulham on Saturday. The right-back was a constant menace for Spurs down the right flank, with his trademark deliveries causing the Cottagers huge problems from the off. As some of these fans have mentioned, it also looks like Trippier has taken over from Christian Eriksen on corner duty for Spurs this season, which is a big move from Mauricio Pochettino. Trippier is really making a name for himself with his pinpoint crossing, and if he can keep this kind of form up there is no reason why he cannot register a lot of assists this season. Overall, Tottenham will be very pleased with their start to the season after two opening wins, with Pochettino’s men struggling in the past to keep pace in the early season running.
