Everton forward Kevin Mirallas is set to complete a loan move to Fiorentina within the next 24 hours, according to Sky Sports News.

The news outlet revealed on their official Twitter account that the Belgian winger, who spent the second half of last season at Greek side Olympiacos, is set for another loan move away from Goodison Park.

Mirallas joined the Toffees six years ago and was a firm first-team regular, along with featuring in Belgium’s 2008 Olympic and 2014 World Cup squad but has since fallen down the pecking order.

The 30-year-old made 13 appearances for Everton last season, managing just five league starts before returning to his former club in January.

Good move for Everton?

Mirallas’ performances over the years have not been as consistent as Toffees supporters would have hoped for.

Despite signing a three-year deal with the club until 2020 last year, it looks like Mirallas’ time is up and after barely featuring last season is unlikely to be a concern on the fans’ minds.

Mirallas will remain on Everton’s books and can hopefully produce a string of top performances for Fiorentina to purchase the winger on a permanent deal.

Likely to happen?

With the arrival of Richarlison from Watford, Kevin Mirallas is clearly not in Marco Silva’s plans and another loan move is probably an acceptable move for the Belgian.

He has rarely featured for the Toffees and will be keen to gain regular playing time to re-discover some form.

The Belgian was frozen out of regular action by previous managers in the past and it looks like he is being served same treatment under Marco Silva, with Mirallas due to complete the move within the next 24 hours.
