Everton must resist the temptation to cash-in on attacker Oumar Niasse as Galatasaray will likely be armed with enough funds to make a very enticing offer.

Turkish newspaper Aksam claimed that the Turkish giants had their eye on the Toffees’ forward, who earns £55,000-a-week (Source: Spotrac), as they’re ready to approve of a £10.4million offer from Al Hilal Riyad for Bafetimbi Gomis.

Given that they’re on the verge of getting a very respectful fee from selling Gomis then they no doubt will have the financial power to put together a package that might look very alluring to the Toffees for Niasse.

This will probably be the case as Galatasaray will know that time is working against them in order to welcome a new recruit to fill the hold left by Gomis as they only have until the end of the month before their transfer window slams shut.

The 28-year-old Toffees forward is worth keeping though despite his mixed performance last season.

During his 2017/18 campaign, Niasse may have not always looked like a top talent but he consistently managed to look like a goal threat and that is something the club should value.

Despite not being a regular starter the forward still managed to score 12 goals in 27 outings last season which saw him finish second in his side’s scoring charts just behind Wayne Rooney.

Yet there may be some at the club tempted to part company with him for the right offer as he does at times look awkward, even clumsy, when the ball is at his feet.

The Toffees attacker is one of the most uniquely talented footballers in the Premier League and even if Galatasaray table a tempting offer then the Merseyside club must stay strong.

Especially as they will be unable to bring in a replacement for him until January.

Therefore while Galatasaray may be about to submit an offer above market value in order to try to secure Niasse’s services, the Toffees should do all they can to hold on to the forward as he can play a part this season.
