West Brom right-back Allan Nyom is set to leave the club for a season-long loan move to Leganes, according to a reliable journalist.

John Percy, from the Telegraph, released the news on his personal Twitter page on Thursday afternoon.

Nyom has played two Championship games for West Brom this season and was expected to play in West Brom’s game against QPR on Saturday.

OPINION

We don’t think too many West Brom fans will be upset about this. The 30-year-old has made 67 appearances for the club but has come in for some heavy criticism from fans. His move could see Craig Dawson coming back into the fold at right-back and it could well kick Darren Moore back into the transfer market. EFL clubs can still sign players on loan until the end of August and this might mean more action for West Brom fans to look forward to. It’s been a mixed start to the season for the Baggies, with a win, a loss and a draw, and fans will be hoping that Moore looks to strengthen, even if most of them will be glad to see Nyom go. He was one of the players that were seen to let the club down as they got relegated and the club will be pleased to see his reported £35k-a-week wages off the books.
