Things haven’t worked out well for Laurens De Bock at Leeds United.

Signed in January for £1.5million from Club Brugge, the 25-year-old has made just seven appearances for his new side. – that’s over £200k a game.

Four years ago he was on the bench for Belgium.

Now it seems he could be off to try to resurrect his career with a surprise move to Beitar Jerusalem, according to Voetbal24.

The report claims that former Standard Liege and Charlton manager Guy Luzon is Beitar manager and is interested in bringing De Bock in.

Voetbal24 adds that De Bock wants to leave Leeds and that the club wants to get rid of him as soon as possible.

With Marcelo Bielsa ready to swing the axe and both parties wanting the move to happen, this looks like one move that could happen.

But Beitar Jerusalem? That’s a big step down for De Bock and it shows how far down he’s sunk since his move to Elland Road in January.

He’s been woeful for Leeds and it seems that his reputation has spread.

Leeds fans won’t mind where he goes but they will be asking some serious questions once again about Victor Orta after another serious waste of money.
