Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted a tough game for both Aston Villa and Brentford in their Championship game tomorrow night.

Writing in his column on Sky Sports, Prutton said, “This is another tough one – Brentford have had a wonderful start to the season but I suppose you could also say the same thing about Villa.

“It would’ve been a tougher assignment had it been at Griffin Park but the Bees will be confident after a very good performance against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday. I feel this could be a very close game.”

He has predicted a 2-2 draw with Jonathan Kodjia to score first.

OPINION

There’s no separating Brentford and Aston Villa in the table after both teams have recorded two wins and a draw in their first three games. Brentford have scored eight goals though and only conceded two and they’ll be right up for this game. Steve Bruce will be happy with Villa’s start after his side hasn’t really got into gear yet, but he’ll definitely be looking for three points from this home game. Goals haven’t been Villa’s issue – they’ve scored seven. But they’ve conceded four and that will be their worry against a team that’s seemingly scoring at will. Kodjia got his first goal of the season in the 1-1 draw with Ipswich on Saturday after a couple of poor performances and he’ll be looking to kick on tomorrow. If Aston Villa can get off to a fast start we could see them taking the three points at home.
