Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted that the Bielsa juggernaut is going to carry on rolling, over Norwich this time, in a 0-2 win for the away side.

Leeds haven’t lost a match since Marcelo Bielsa took over as manager over the summer, although their perfect record went in a 2-2 draw with Swansea on Tuesday night.

Prutton thinks they’ll get back to winning ways at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon and stay top of the league.

Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Prutton said, “Norwich got an important victory in midweek to relieve some of the early pressure on Daniel Farke, who needs to start showing quickly that they have improved from a very disappointing campaign last season.

“Leeds failed to win for the first time this season on Tuesday night but they showed great resolve in pegging Swansea back twice and Marcelo Bielsa would have been pleased with the point. I reckon they will be too good for Norwich.”

OPINION

After an incredible start, Leeds faced their first big test on Tuesday night and if they didn’t come through it with flying colours, they did come through it. That will be a huge boost to players and fans for a team that all too easily crumpled at the first sign of pressure last season. Bielsa has instilled a new sense of confidence in the players and getting back to winning ways in a tough away game against Norwich would be the perfect tonic. Racking up the points early is the best way to counter any dip in form in the winter and this season’s Championship is shaping up to be hugely competitive. West Brom and Middlesbrough are both waiting for Leeds to slip up and Aston Villa and Swansea should both be serious promotion contenders too. We agree with Prutton here – we think Leeds will just have too much for Norwich, who won’t know what’s hit them after the whistle goes at 3pm.
