Lee Bowyer is set to make a late move for Leeds midfielder Eunan O’Kane, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, and a large section of Leeds fans are desperate for the deal to go through.
O’Kane had a terrible season for Leeds and has been told he’s surplus to requirements.
He has been training with the Under-23s but Bowyer is set to throw him a lifeline before the transfer deadline on Thursday.
And plenty of Leeds fans are happy to see the back of him, although one said he was a decent player who had been destroyed by the Leeds boo boys.
Many other Leeds fans don’t think the same way though, with one saying “Please let it be true” and others offering to drive him to Charlton themselves.

It’s been a rapid descent for O’Kane at Leeds, after the 28-year-old signed a contract extension for four years last August. He’s one of the casualties of a poor campaign and most Leeds fans will be happy to see him gone on a permanent deal. There are a few who think he’s better than he showed last year, and one fan blamed the boo boys and keyboard warriors. That’s a bit too simplistic and Bielsa has obviously decided that he’s not good enough for his system at Leeds. It’s time for O’Kane to depart and a permanent deal would be best for both sides.
