Everton must bin Tyias Browning for good this summer, with the defender in the final year of his contract at Goodison Park.

Browning, 24, had a shocker of a season out on loan at Sunderland in 2017/18, appearing 29 times across all competitions as the Wearside club were relegated from the Championship.

Chris Coleman did not even play him for the final 10 games of the season as Sunderland suffered back-to-back relegations.

Browning’s form was horrific and there’s no way that the once-promising England youth international will be able to make it at Goodison and Everton should look to get rid of him on a permanent deal this summer to at least try and cut their losses.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the centre-back already wants to leave the club on a temporary deal once again.

He has been loaned out to Wigan, Preston and Sunderland in the past, all without great success, and wants to try his hand at it once more in the final year of his Toffees deal.

However if somehow Everton can pocket some kind of small fee that will get him off their wagebill and make a bit of cash, then they should really look to flog him for good.

It may be hard to draw interest from the Championship after his poor season at Sunderland last time out, but there are bound to be clubs in League One, or even Scotland, who would be interested in taking on the defender.

It does not work out for all young footballs who make their way through the ranks at Everton and unfortunately for Browning, he has been living on borrowed time on Merseyside for several years now.
