OPINION

This is great news for Wolves. Nuno Espirito Santo is one of the best managers in Europe and performed miracles last season to get the club promoted to the Premier League. It wasn’t just the fact that they got promotion, they won the division with an incredible 99 points and played the type of football that many didn’t think would work in the Championship. Their style was a free-flowing, passing game and they destroyed opponents with their technical ability and creativity on the ball. Yes, they had good players but Nuno was the one who orchestrated the team, coached them into a style and drove them forward. With the ambition that the club is showing, having signed both ex-Sporting CP goalkeeper Rui Patricio and ex-Benfica striker Raul Jiminez amongst others, who knows what this club is capable of. The Premier League sides should be worried because Wolves could pull off a few shocks next season.
