Some West Ham supporters are excited about the possibility of signing Laxalt, however others would rather see the club invest money in other areas of the squad.

Good player but they will want £18m solid Attacking LB LWB & LW. Bit if we even spend a lil more money bc Frees do cost. I'd go for DM. Could get Yann M'Vila on cheap 1 year left or Mlan Badelj on free both solid passing DMs

Would be a great signing. Probably see profit if moving Cresswell on.

OPINION
West Ham have already spent a lot of cash this summer and are yet to sign a new centre-forward. They have Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll and Marko Arnautovic who can spearhead the attack, but given how much money the club has spent this summer, fans are now expecting an improvement. Laxalt would be an upgrade on the likes of Aaron Cresswell, but for now, it should not be Manuel Pellegrini’s priority. He needs a focal point for his attack, someone who can bring the likes of Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Arnautovic into play, not another wide-man like Genoa’s Laxalt.
