Some Manchester City fans have been reacting after reports suggest that Chelsea have hijacked their deal to sign Napoli ace Jorginho.
As reported by the Evening Standard, Chelsea are close to securing both Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri and midfielder Jorginho.
Manchester City had been favourites to sign the Italian midfielder, as reported by The Guardian, but the London club seem to have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals.
One Manchester City has claimed that it’s not as if the club has missed out on Lionel Messi and that he would get over it.
This is Futbol have rounded up the best tweets from a section of Manchester City fans on Chelsea’s pursuit of Jorginho:
Right . I'm think I'm speaking for a lot of city fans here . We were sceptical about getting jorginho and thought we could get better . We're only a bit salty because he's going to Chelsea yet a lot of us genuinely didn't want him ? #MCFC

Napoli wants us to believe Jorginho prefers to live in London when his agent was crying out in public for Napoli to let him get his 'dream' move to City &Pep just weeks ago. Joao said he fancies Pep & its a once in a lifetime opportunity. Dont sell us lies like London dreams

Bro don't be sad, we can buy whoever we want, if Jorginho chose to play in Europe league instead of Champions League he is more than welcome! Let's trust pep that he will find a greater magician to our midfield?

OPINION
This was obviously a hard decision on Jorginho’s part, anyone would want to go to Manchester City to play for Pep Guardiola, his teams play tremendous football and they will be Premier League title favourites again this season. However, when a former manager wants you, and you trust that manager, it’s then hard to refuse that. His footballing style will help Sarri when he integrates with the new club and tries to build a new system, the Italian is perfect for Sarri’s style of play. Time will tell if he made the right decision, but Man City will be devastated to have missed out on his signature.
