West Ham wonderkid Domingos Quina has been touted to other clubs, according to super-reliable Hammers source Ex- WHU Employee.

Asked by a Hammers fan if the club are going to renew Quina’s contract, the reliable Twitter account revealed that the 18-year-old’s agent has been touting him to other clubs.

With the creative midfielder’s contract due to expire next summer, he has been linked with a number of clubs in this summer’s transfer window including Leeds United, as reported by the Mirror.

The Portuguese youth international is currently representing his country at the Under-19 European Championships in Finland, he found the net in a 3-2 loss to Italy Under-19’s yesterday.

It’s a shame to see such a talented young player taken for a ride by his agent. He could have a future at West Ham United and Manuel Pellegrini will no doubt have an eye on giving the midfielder a chance in the first-team this season, but that could all be ruined if he leaves the club this summer. However, this could also be a tactic by the agent to try and ramp up contract negotiations, as when other clubs express an interest in a player, the club are then more likely to offer improved terms to stave off interested parties. The technical midfielder is a real talent who could thrive under the new boss and would fit into the team’s style of play seamlessly. If the player was to move on, he should only move if he’s been offered regular first-team football because Quina has a real future at The London Stadium, such is the level of his talent.
