Wolves have already strengthened many other areas of the field, but their attention must now be focused on the attack with the transfer window slamming shut in a few weeks.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo will undoubtedly want to complete the club’s business imminently, and the addition of new players into the attack will round off what has been a promising summer of signings.

Earlier this year, Portuguese publication O Jogo reported that Arsenal had sent scouts to watch Benfica midfielder Andrija Zivkovic – but since nothing ever materialised from that, Wolves should make a move for the Serbian flyer themselves.

The 22-year-old would add another dimension to their attack than they already have, possessing the pace that can scare defenders as well as excellent technical ability.

Since he joined Liga NOS outfit Benfica in the summer of 2016, the Serbia international – who has 11 caps for his country – has gone from strength to strength and has developed into a highly threatening winger.

Nuno already has a fairly strong squad going into the upcoming Premier League season, but it would not hurt to add that extra bit of flair that can be the difference from finishing just above the relegation zone, to competing for a place mid-table.

Having Helder Costa on one wing and Zivkovic playing one the other is a lethal combination on paper, and when put into practice, would be a very dangerous pairing that would cause opponents a lot of damage.

Wolves should take the risk and cough up for Zivkovic, as he looks to be a player that most clubs would not mind spending reasonable money on, being valued at £6.3million according to the Sun.

The fact he has 11 international appearances at a young age is also something to be admired, as it takes a lot of work to break into a team, especially at 22.

Now Wolves should make a move to capture the speedy Serbian to give them an edge in their strikeforce.
