A section of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustration following striker Robert Snodgrass’ display in their pre-season friendly with Preston North End.
The former Leeds forward played the entire 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon (21 July) as the Hammers drew 2-2 with their Championship opponents.
Snodgrass spent the entirety of the 2017/2018 campaign on loan at second tier side Aston Villa after falling out of favour at the club, netting eight goals in the process.

His performance yesterday afternoon did not go down well with the Irons’ faithful, who have urged the club on Twitter to sell unwanted frontman Snodgrass.

Good squad player I’d prefer to keep than to sell for under £10mil

He's a decent squad player but if someone offered about 8 mil I'd take it

Minus 5 about right for Snodgrass!

GAME TODAY. Good run out, improved fitness and sharpness. 3 talking points to consider. We were weak down the left with Masuaku there. Adrian can still be a liability. Had a rush of blood in the 1st half and nearly lost the ball at the corner flag. Snodgrass is not good enough.

Sell Snodgrass and Keep Antonio.
Let a youngster take his place.

COMMENTARY
It looks like West Ham fans have had just about enough of Robert Snodgrass, who has been underperforming in recent seasons. They are urging the club to get rid of him albeit the couple of supporters who think they should take the risk and let him stay. Snodgrass had a promising campaign with Aston Villa last year by scoring eight goals, but it is obvious that strikers like Marko Arnautovic are eclipsing his ability, indicated by his two goals in yesterday’s match. Pellegrini is undoubtedly going to stick with Arnautovic up front, so it is wise to agree with the majority of Hammers’ fans who think he should leave. They are right – the club need to cash in on the Scotland international while they still can, providing other parties are interested.
