A section of Newcastle fans have reacted with appreciation after famous Toon fans Ant and Dec tweeted their support for the ‘#IfRafaGoesWeGo’ campaign.

The campaign has gained real momentum this summer with fans worried that manager Rafael Benitez will leave the club over frustration at the lack of transfers.
The ‘IfRafaGoesWeGo’ Twitter account has amassed 11.5k followers and has even started a petition for supporters to throw in their season tickets should Benitez leave St. James Park.
One Newcastle fan said that they can always rely on Ant and Dec.

OPINION
It’s obvious that this club means an awful lot to all Newcastle United fans, even Ant and Dec! The fact that they have announced their support for this campaign means that surely Mike Ashley must now listen to what the fans want and put some real investment into buying new players in order to be genuinely competitive next season. This campaign has got a staggering amount of support and following on social media and will only get bigger should the lack of investment continue. Rafa Benitez is crucial to the future of the Magpies, if he goes, the club is in major trouble.
