Everton fans have delivered mainly positive reactions on Twitter after striker Fraser Hornby signed his first professional contract at the club.
The 18-year-old forward, who was confirmed on the club’s official Twitter account to have penned a three-year deal that keeps him at Goodison Park until 2021, netted 19 goals in all competitions for the Everton under-23 side last season.

The news of Fraser Hornby signing his first professional contract at Everton has had an encouraging response from the club faithful. The announcement has prompted them to say he deserves a chance in the first team squad, which is not completely unrealistic. However, he is not yet tested at Premier League level, and he would be best suited being loaned out to a lower league club to prove he can replicate his form from playing in the Under 23’s team. There is no doubt he has the talent to be a prolific striker, and the fact he has had such a positive response from Everton fans shows he has a very promising future at the club.
