Some Everton fans have reacted with anger after reports suggested that Jordan Pickford is Chelsea’s number one target to replace Thibaut Courtois this summer.
As reported by Sky Sports on their official Twitter account, Pickford will be Chelsea’s number one target to replace the Belgian shot stopper should he leave the club this summer, as he heads into the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old, who currently earns £60,000-per-week (Spotrac), enhanced his stellar reputation with some outstanding performances for England at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and was a favourite at Goodison Park during his first season at the club, picking up the player of the year award.
The full report by Sky Sports reveals that Kasper Schmeichel and Jack Butland are also targets should Courtois join Real Madrid in this window.
One Toffees fan said he is not for sale and he wouldn’t want to go to Chelsea in any case.

Jordan Pickford isn’t going to stick around at Everton with Beavis and Butt-Head playing in front of him. #EFC

Really not surprised that Pickford is linked with a big move away. He was one of the star men at the World Cup.
If he does go then I would certainly be interested in us going for Etrit Berisha of Atalanta. #efc— Paul – M – (@nsno1878) July 27, 2018

OPINION
This section of Everton fans clearly don’t want Pickford to leave, he’s an incredible goalkeeping talent and the Goodison Park faithful are clearly fond of the 24-year-old shot-stopper. If he does leave, some Toffees fans are demanding an extremely high fee should the former Sunderland player eventually end up joining Chelsea, which is absolutely right as his stock has never been higher and he will only get better with more match experience. It will be interesting to see how much Real Madrid are prepared to pay for Courtois, because that fee may go some way to determining how much Everton want for Pickford.
