Everton winger Yannick Bolasie faces an uncertain future on Merseyside with four clubs registering their interest in the winger, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The regional newspaper report that Leicester City, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Fenerbahce are all in the hunt for the 29-year-old, who has struggled with a serious knee injury during his time at Goodison Park.

The Echo claim that Everton are not actively looking to sell the DR Congo international, but are willing to field offers for a player they paid £30million for in 2016.

It is said that the impending arrival of Richarlison could affect Bolasie’s chance of first-team football with the Toffees.

Good move for Everton?

In many ways it would be a shame to see Bolasie leave Everton after such a disappointing spell, with the 29-year-old winger on such good form before his unfortunate injury.

Sadly for him, and for the club, Bolasie has failed to recover fully yet from his injury, and that has massively affected his performances for the Toffees.

If the club were to get a decent offer for his services then they may well take it, and it would be hard to blame them considering his age and form the club.

As mentioned, it would be a shame, but in the long-term a good move for the club.

Likely to happen?

With the arrival of Richarlison looking likely to come in the next few days, it does look like Bolasie’s future lies away from Merseyside.

The winger will recognise that his path to first-team minutes is looking tough, and he will know that at this point of his career he needs to be playing.

A move to a club where that is possible makes sense for all parties, and should a bid come in expect Bolasie to leave Goodison Park this summer.
