Happy with his extension. We should also extend the contracts of the other youngsters and Ramsey as well. I think Calum has the potential to be a good defender under Emery.

Unai Emery has wasted no time in strengthening Arsenal’s key area of weakness, having already signed defenders Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Chambers commitment to the Emirates furthers this impressive transfer window for Emery, and that has been well received by the Arsenal fans.
OPINION
Chmabers certainly still has the inconsistencies that he needs to eradicate, but the 23-year-old still has plenty of time to develop. Bringing in Lichtsteiner and Papastathopoulos will be crucial to Chambers, as the pair are extremely experienced elite level defenders, which Chambers can now look to learn from. The injury to Laurent Koscielny will not be bringing so much of a headache now to Emery and the fans alike, and the heart of the Gunners defence looks to be in better shape. Chambers has established himself now as a decent defender, capable at the domestic level, and now the club have facilitated the next stage of his career. Gunners fans must be looking forward to seeing what he can do next.
