Leeds United are the most likely destination for Brentford winger Florian Jozefzoon, according to the Sun’s transfer expert Alan Nixon.
Speculation was rife on Tuesday night after Brentford confirmed that an offer had been accepted for the Dutch 27-year-old, who had an impressive season in the Championship.
They added that personal terms and a medical were still to be completed.

One fan asked Nixon who the unnamed club was who had made the offer for Jozefzoon and he said, “Leeds most likely destination”.
He doubled down on this a short time later when a fan asked him which club he thought had had an offer accepted for Jozefzoon.
Good move for Leeds?
This would be a great move for Leeds. Time is running out in the summer transfer window and so far only a couple of loanees have been added from Chelsea – Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker. Leeds desperately need some new attacking flair and Jozefzoon would definitely bring this. He’s a proven talent in the Championship with Brentford and the feeling is that there’s a lot more to come from him. The former Netherlands Under-21 attacker hasn’t fulfilled his early promise but we believe a manager like Bielsa could bring that out of him. He’s already delivered for Brentford and with better players around him, he could really shine.

A move is very likely to happen, the question is to where? Brentford are ready to sell Jozefzoon and have accepted an offer for him. There’s no official confirmation that it’s Leeds who have made the bid, but they’re in the market for an attacker and Nixon is a highly reliable source of information. If he says Leeds are the most likely destination then he will have heard something about the move. With Brentford willing to make their stance public, we expect there to be more official information soon, and for the move to be wrapped up fairly rapidly. Leeds fans will have to sweat a while longer, but it’s looking good that Jozefzoon will be unveiled as a new signing soon.
