Likely to happen?

After a lot of toing and froing between the two sides over the last few days, it’s finally looking likely to happen.

A loan deal with an option to buy is sensible from Newcastle’s point of view, as they can save their money to secure other targets and focus on paying the fee for Kenedy next season.

For Chelsea they aren’t going to play him anyway so they’re in a winning position, whatever happens, it’s a move that suits both clubs and the player, which makes you wonder why it’s taken so long.
