A section of Nottingham Forest supporters have spoken of their excitement after the club sealed a permanent deal for goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon.
The official Nottingham Forest Twitter account confirmed that the 31-year-old has signed from Watford on a three-year deal.

The Romanian goalkeeper joins the club who he made 13 appearances for in the second-half of last year’s Championship campaign for an undisclosed fee.

OPINION
This must be an exciting time to join Nottingham Forest for any player. Costel Pantilimon is joining Forest at a time when they’re showing real ambition, ambition that the club’s fans haven’t seen for a long, long time. With the players Aitor Karanka has bought in, and those he will bring in, it’s becoming clearer that the club will be a genuine promotion challenger this season. Why wouldn’t a player like Pantilimon want to be part of that? After being involved in mid-table mediocrity with Watford for a few years, no wonder he wants a bit of excitement, and The City Ground is full of it at the moment.
