The outlet claims that the London club will offer £51.25million up front, with another £6.18million in add-ons, which includes both Sarri’s release clause and the fee for Jorginho.
As reported by The Guardian, Manchester City were close to signing the Italian after agreeing a fee in the region of £43million with Napoli last week, so this will be a big blow to Pep Guardiola’s side ahead of next season. The 26-year-old midfield creator will link up with his former manager at Stamford Bridge, as Sarri’s arrival will surely signal the end of Antonio Conte’s reign.
