OPINION
The news of Sam Field’s new contract at West Brom has certainly gone down well with the supporters. They are desperate to see their club in the Premier League next season, and based on these showings, they think that Field may be the player to help them do just that. West Brom needed to strengthen their midfield, and this news will undoubtedly trigger the central midfielder’s spot in the first team. The fans obviously welcome the addition of players from the Academy, and rightly so – it can save them a lot of money in the long-term. Fingers crossed that Field can stamp his mark on the team in the way he hopes he does.
