Many Leeds United fans have been left raving after striker Tyler Roberts posted an update on Twitter with a picture of him in training.
The former West Brom forward arrived at Elland Road during the January transfer market but a serious injury blow, the 19-year-old suffering a cracked shin bone in training, prevented him from making his debut last season, instead forced to watch his new side from the sidelines, leaving fans to forget he had been signed.
However, the youngster is now back in action and took to his personal Twitter account to speak out about the last half-a-year, highlighting that he could finally see a “light at the end of the tunnel”.

This is Futbol has gathered a selection of the fans’ messages:

Opinion
It is no surprise to see the Leeds fans full of joy at Roberts’ return to action in training, for they saw his opportunity to make a real difference last season cruelly snatched away before his career at the club had even begun. Now he faces the battle of trying to convince Marcelo Bielsa that he has what it takes not only to battle for a first team role at Elland Road, but to be a regular starter. At 19, he lacks the experience of some of his rivals for the role, but after the majority failed to live up to expectations, the youngster may find himself handed the chance to lead the line. Still, the Argentine boss is likely to want a new, proven forward, and Roberts may have to bide his time.
