Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman posted a message to Leeds fans on Instagram on Monday, saying he was happy to have joined and that he was keen to get to work.
Eagle-eyed Leeds fans spotted a reply from his Chelsea teammate Kenneth Omeruo saying “Wait for meeeee” and they’re thrilled at the prospect of the powerhouse centre-back joining too.
The 24-year-old centre-back powerhouse joined Chelsea six years ago from Standard Liege and he hasn’t managed to break int the senior squad yet.
However, Leeds fans are excited about Omeruo hooking up with his former teammate.
One implored Leeds to “Do it!” saying that Omeruo would only cost £2million, while another said that was an “outstanding” player.
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans, hoping that Omeruo is on his way to Elland Road:
Could Kenneth Omeruo be the Prem player we are looking at Phil? 'Wait for me' under Jamals post. Nigerian Center back ? pic.twitter.com/JosO43UK3F

Watched Omeruo play for #SuperEagles in 2013 #CAN and he was outstanding. Ball-playing center half. Prone to the odd error but always cool and composed. Would be very good for #LUFC

OPINION
Could Kenneth Omeruo be the Premier league player that Leeds have reportedly been linked with? The cryptic message on Instagram certainly hints at this, but not all players are as well trained on social media and it could be a harmless message that is being viewed the wrong way. On the other hand, Omeruo must know enough that his comments would be picked up on and “Wait for me” seems to be a very strong hint. Leeds fans certainly hope that it is. He played two full 90 minutes in the World Cup for Russia and Leeds would love to have him at Elland Road next season.
