Cardiff are set to make an £8million bid for midfielder Ronaldo Vieira, and Leeds fans are not happy with the news at all.

The Sun (15/7, print edition, p59) made the claim that Neil Warnock was preparing a move for the 19-year-old who has just impressed for the England Under-21s.

However, Leeds fans would riot if he was sold for that amount judging by their comments on Twitter.

One fan said that it would take a bid of £20million to buy Vieira, while another said that it would be neared £12million plus add-ons.

However, another fan said that selling the club’s best players at a knockdown price wasn’t how he thought the Marcelo Bielsa reign would begin.

There’s no indication yet that Leeds would sell, or for what price, but judging by fans’ comments, this could be a real testing point for the new regime.

Here are the best reactions from disgruntled Leeds fans:

OPINION

Leeds will know well how their fans would feel about selling Vieira to Cardiff, but these tweets prove how much they value their young powerhouse. While some wouldn’t entertain a sale at any price, others are quoting valuations between £12million and £20million. It remains to be seen what Leeds will say if an official bid comes in, but Leeds fans will be sweating on Vieira until the close of the transfer window now.
