Everton manager Marco Silva is bound to want to make a lot of changes at Goodison Park this summer alongside new director of football Marcel Brands.

Majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is likely to bankroll yet another splurge in the transfer market after the failure of last summer, but what if Silva and Brands can work together to not only improve results, but also save the Merseyside club millions of pounds?

There are already some top players at Goodison Park, some of which have been rarely-seen by the fans, and Silva must look to try and use these to help improve the club’s performance in the Premier League.

Here, This is Futbol looks at three existing players at Everton that Silva must try to get the best out of.

Kieran Dowell – attacking midfielder

Dowell spend this season on loan at Nottingham Forest in the Championship, where he proved that he has immense potential and should be breaking into the Everton first team next term.

The brilliant attacking sensation made 43 appearances in all competitions for Forest and scored 10 goals in the process, and he can be key for the Toffees next season.

The 20-year-old has only played three times in the senior squad at Goodison, but Silva should look to include the England Under-21 international much more regularly under his charge.

Ademola Lookman – winger

Lookman barely got a look-in under Sam Allardyce’s leadership at Goodison and was shipped out on loan to RB Leipzig in January.

He has made just 24 appearances in all competitions since joining Everton from Charlton in 2017, with most of them coming off the bench.

The 20-year-old attacker has a massive future ahead of him and Silva can prevent the need to sign a new winger if he looks to hand Lookman a key role at the club next season.

Beni Baningime – central midfield

Everton’s midfield just did not do enough to create chances this season and should be one of the first areas that Silva should look to address.

But one player already on the books at Goodison that should be considered for a bigger role is Baningime, who rose to prominence under David Unsworth’s caretaker reign before dropping down the pecking order once again under Allardyce.

The 19-year-old Congolese midfielder has only ever made 12 senior appearances for the Toffees, hopefully he gets way more under Silva.
